My favorite baby shower gift to give to expectant mothers is a diaper cake. I usually buy size 1 or 2 diapers so they can enjoy it as room decor for a few months before tearing it apart. I hide baby bath wash inside and usually a fun board book wrapped in a crib sheet serves as the base. Then a cute plush toy adorns the top and coordinating ribbon holds it all together. This is one that I made for a family member's mermaid-themed shower.
